Procurement of 20 ferry boats under the 5 million grass planting project

The Government of Maldives, through the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, requires 20 watering vehicles for the 5 Million Trees Project it is implementing. The Ministry invites bids from interested parties for this work. To demonstrate their eligibility to carry out the work, interested parties must submit the information stated in the Terms of Reference attached to this notice. The Terms of Reference for this work are attached to this notice and can be downloaded. They are also available for download from the Ministry's website, www.environment.gov.mv. Bidders must register with the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy in order to submit bids. Registration begins on the date of gazetting and must be completed by email to [email protected] before 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 7 October 2026. Parties that do not register will not be permitted to submit bids. When registering, please provide the following information: - Company name, or the name and address of the party represented by the company - Company registration number - Company email address - Phone number of the person registering - Email address: [email protected] - Copy: [email protected] **Bid Security:** Bidders must submit a bid security of MVR 8,000 (Eight Thousand Maldivian Rufiyaa) for this project. The bid security is valid for 120 days from the bid opening date. **Bid validity and bid opening:** Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope. The envelope must show the name of the tender, the date and time of opening, the name of the bidder, the bidder's email address and a contact phone number. Bid validity is 120 days from the date of submission. Bids must be submitted at the Reception of the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, Dharubaaru, Faashanaa Maalum, before 10:00 AM on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. Bids submitted after the deadline will be returned unopened.
